Session 1: Who Said That Was You?
We all carry words, labels, experiences, and expectations that have shaped how we see ourselves. This session challenges us to identify what has been defining us and who gave those voices permission to speak into our identity.
Journey: Who told me?

10:40–10:50 AM
Breakout: What Made You Believe It?
A quiet, guided reflection designed to move past who said it and uncover why that message took root and began to feel true.
Journey: Why did I believe it?
This is where they individually write through the prompts you’ve been developing.

10:50–11:30 AM
Reflective Activity: What Has It Cost You?
An interactive conversation where participants can process what surfaced and explore how those beliefs may have affected their choices, relationships, confidence, calling, and the way they see themselves.
Journey: What has it done to me? Is it actually true?
This is also where the pastor can respond to what people discovered without fully moving into Session 2 yet.
The transition question at the end should be something like:
“If your past, your pain, other people, and even your own thoughts don't have the authority to define you… who does?”

Session 2: Walk Like You Know Who You Are
Knowing what God says about you is one thing. This session explores what happens when you believe His truth and begin living, making decisions, and showing up from your God-given identity.
Journey:
What does God say? → Will I believe Him? → How do I live from that truth? This is where you move from identification to replacement and activation.

Ask the Pastor
An open Q&A where participants can bring the real questions that surfaced throughout the day and talk through what living from their God-given identity looks like in everyday life.
Journey: What does this actually look like for me?
I would also allow anonymous questions here. Some of the questions around identity, family, rejection, church, relationships, etc. may be things people won't want to ask publicly.

2:40–3:30 PM
Prayer + Intercession: Release + Receive
We’ll close the daytime experience by releasing the identities, agreements, and labels God never gave us and praying into the truth of who He says we are.
Journey: What changes now?
This is where the entire experience comes together:
Release what defined me → Receive what God says → Choose to live from it.

7:00 PM
The W.A.Y. Gala
*Business Casual Attire Required*
A complimentary evening for everyone who attends The W.A.Y. to eat, fellowship, meet new people, and spend time getting to know the pastor outside of the workshop setting.
MAYBE YOUR IDENTITY HAS BEEN SHAPED BY
Something someone spoke over you years ago
A mistake or season you still define yourself by
Rejection, disappointment, or failure
The pressure to become who social media says you should be
Comparison and constantly feeling like you’re behind
Negative things you’ve repeated to yourself for so long they started to feel true
Expectations from family, culture, relationships, or even the church
You’ll Leave With
A clearer understanding of who you are, whose you are, and how that identity changes the way you live.
Because before you can fully step into what God has called you to do, you have to know who He has called you to be.
We’re excited to see you
